What a strange time we are going through but

We don’t want it to affect anyone's holiday.

We hope that you are reassured that we have read endless guidance, written a new cleaning policy, a covid-19 risk assessment and done all that is required and more to obtain the ‘Good to go’ certificate.

Our lodges have a deep clean before your new guests arrive using Cleaning products that meet BS EN 14476 and 1276 as recommended. There are some cleaning products along with antibacterial soap, washing liquid and hand gel provided for stays.

We ask guests to please only have the number of people at booking staying over with no change overs during the stay.

We apologies as we have had to removed many cushions, decorations, games and reading books, the homely touches, during this time to minimise any possible spread of the Covid-19 virus.

We ask guests not to travel if they have symptoms or if they have been in contact with someone who is symptomatic or has received a positive Covid test result.

We also ask guests to contact us if they develop any of the symptoms of Covid-19 whilst staying with us or during the 14 days after you return home

a high temperature –you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

a new, continuous cough –coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

We check the chemicals in the hot tub daily but always ensure social distancing when we do and disinfect where we have touched before leaving.

On the day of departure Guests are asked to be tight on leaving at 10am to ensure us sufficient time to deep clean the Log Cabin before our next guests arrive. Guests kindly help to keep us safe by removing all used bedding and place in the bags provided along with all used towels and oven gloves and to open all windows and doors as early as they can on your day of departure.

Should we have to cancel your holiday due to Covid then we will refund to you all the money that you have paid. We suggest that guests check their own travel insurance to be prepared for if they should you be forced to cancel their booking. We will do all that we can to resell bookings at the last minute if guests would like us to, to help in such difficult situations.
