Red Kite Lodge is an ideal venue for a family/friend or couples holiday, mini break, special birthday, anniversary or just to get-away to the quiet countryside. The lodge is easily accessible from larger towns and cities.

The Lodge is heated with a modern gas central heating system as well as a log burner which adds an incredibly relaxing glow of friendship.

The two leather sofas with 4 reclining seats add that extra comfort when you need it, with a view out of beautiful Welsh farmland, trees and 3 ponds complete with natural wildlife.

The kitchen is well-equipped with all pots, pans, kettle, toaster, utensils and dishes that you might need. It has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and a large American fridge freezer providing considerable storage for your holiday food and drinks.

The round table in the kitchen is well placed to sit and relax whilst dinner is being cooked and very sociable to enjoy your dining experience together.

The utility room offers a washing machine, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket and broom should you need them.

The cabin has a WiFi connection. You will find 3 TVs in the Lodge, one in each bedroom and of course one in the living area. All are smart TVs with Freesat providing you with more channels than you will probably watch. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, You tube, BBC iplayer, and ITV hub are all built in. For the technical ones of you, feel free to play music off your phone through the TV or Bluetooth the image on your mobile device onto the TV screen.

The main bedroom with a King size oak bed is privately positioned at the back of the lodge, with its own en suite shower room we hope that you'll feel like you are being spoilt just that little bit more than usual.

The second bedroom can be arranged as a twin room with two single beds or we can zip and link the beds together to make a super king, the decision is yours. Just let us know when booking and we'll make up the beds ready for your arrival. This bedroom is also en suite though this shower room is a 'Jack and Jill' layout with two entrances. Designed this way we wanted easy access to shower before and after using the hot tub without making the floor all the way through the cabin wet for you.

Outside to the front you will find a large decking area, half of which is covered should the welsh weather not be at its best. Here you will find the hot tub where you can relax, take in the peace and quiet of nature and on a clear night just lie back and watch the stars.

You'll probably see the Red Kites flying above, often establishing their dominance over the crows. There are regularly Canadian geese and ducks who like nothing more than their regular swim on our pool.

The sheep are inquisitive creatures who will no doubt want to come over to meet you all, as will Bob, Ed and Tom the alpacas. It wont be long before you're welcomed by Hidy, Pickle and Onion the very sociable goats, along with their young kids born June 2023. The hens are so funny to watch and will no doubt run down to say hello.

If you're listening you will hear the regular calling of owls and recently the curlew and woodpecker have been in full song. The swallows are still here and the air is always full with a host of beautiful birds .
